White Ops Names Barry Chubrik as Chief Financial Officer

NEW YORK, NY–January 27, 2016 – White Ops, the leader in online fraud detection for digital advertising, today announced that it has appointed Barry Chubrik as chief financial officer (CFO). Chubrik starts immediately and reports to White Ops CEO Michael Tiffany.

Chubrik brings nearly two decades of financial, operational and strategic experience to White Ops. Most recently, he served as CFO at Get Satisfaction, an online community platform connecting companies with customers, which was acquired in April 2015 by “The Billion-Dollar Startup That Cracked Social Advertising, Sprinklr.” While there, he led finance and accounting, business operations/metrics, planning, human resources and investor relations. Chubrik’s professional experience also spans venture capital investing, technology equity research and brand management. He holds degrees from Rutgers University and UC Berkeley's Haas School of Business.

“White Ops has experienced tremendous growth over the last year, capturing the attention of some of the world’s most recognizable brands and working with them to remove fraud from digital advertising,” said Michael Tiffany. “Barry joins White Ops at a pivotal time and his expertise and experience will add additional momentum to our growth in 2016 and beyond.”

White Ops offers the world’s first systematic, massively scalable, continuous anti-fraud solution for accurately isolating and eliminating bot-infected traffic. By applying the frictionless and invisible techniques of Side Channel Analysis across thousands of real-time user session variables, White Ops differentiates between a human and machine-driven request, across the full spectrum of impression and click fraud techniques—regardless of the sophistication of the bot programmer and their attempts to adapt and evade. This agile and deterministic approach is vastly more advanced and effective than methods generally employed by legacy fraud detection services, which rely largely on historical data and statistical and predictive analysis to estimate bot activity.

About White Ops
White Ops is the leading provider of advanced cyber security detection and prevention services, protecting the digital advertising ecosystem and enterprise businesses against bot and malware fraud. White Ops innovative services help organizations improve their bottom lines and ensure the success of their campaigns, business goals, and the security of their systems and data. Unlike traditional approaches that employ statistical analysis, simple blacklisting or static signatures, White Ops effectively combats criminal activity by actually differentiating between robotic and human interaction within online advertising and publishing, enterprise business networks, e-commerce transactions, financial systems and more, allowing organizations to remove and prevent fraudulent traffic and activity. By working with customers to cut off sources of bad Internet traffic, White Ops makes bot and malware fraud unprofitable and unsustainable for the cyber criminals -- an economic strategy that will eventually eradicate this type of fraud. White Ops was recently appointed to the board of W3C.
