White Ops Awarded for Innovation Technology

NEW YORK—August 3, 2020—Today, the Business Intelligence Group named White Ops, the global leader in collective protection against sophisticated bot attacks and fraud, a winner in the 2020 Sales and Technology Marketing Awards program, also known as The Sammys. White Ops Co-Founder and CEO,Tamer Hassan, was named Individual of the Year and White Ops Marketing Integrity was named Product of the Year. The Sammys honor organizations and products helping to solve the challenges organizations have connecting and collaborating with prospects and customers.

“Today, marketers are plagued by sophisticated bots that mimic human behavior by visiting websites and filling out forms. This results in wasted spend, skewed marketing metrics and lower conversion rates,” said Tamer Hassan, Co-Founder and CEO at White Ops. “By taking a multilayered approach to bot detection and mitigation, our solution can detect the sophisticated bot activity that evades existing application security solutions. It’s an honor to be recognized by the Business Intelligence Group and The Sammys, and we look forward to helping marketers protect their marketing spend from sophisticated bots.”

Hassan was appointed Chief Executive Officer by White Ops’ board of directors in April 2019. He had served as Chief Technology Officer since co-founding White Ops in 2012, and played a pivotal role in scaling White Ops’ Bot Mitigation Platform to support many of the Internet’s largest platforms while aggressively preventing and taking down the most sophisticated and malicious bot threats. On November 27, 2018, White Ops unveiled that it had dismantled 3ve, the largest and most sophisticated ad fraud operations to date in collaboration with the FBI, Google, and other key partners. 3ve had infected 1.8 million computers, counterfeited more than 10,000 websites, and generated between 3 to 12 billion requests per day to sell fake online advertising. For Hassan’s leadership role in the takedown of 3ve, he was recognized by Fast Company as The Most Creative Person in Businessin 2019.

White Ops Marketing Integrity is the first product to protect marketers’ digital lead acquisition efforts, protecting marketers’ websites and customer acquisition efforts from sophisticated bot attacks, ensuring engagement with real humans. It enables brands to identify bot traffic, spot fake information and match CRM data to block fake contacts from entering sales and marketing systems. As a result, brands can maximize the effectiveness and ROI of marketing campaigns, increase conversion rates, preserve data quality of lead generation and CRM platforms, and efficiently allocate resources for contact outreach and retargeting.

“We are proud to reward and recognize White Ops, Tamer Hassan and White Ops Marketing Integrity for their innovation and dedication to helping both the organization using their technology and the ultimate consumer,” said Maria Jimenez, Chief Nominations Officer, Business Intelligence Group. “It was clear to our judges that their dedication and innovation will improve how we all connect with the brands we love. Congratulations!”

Today, White Ops verifies the humanity of more than 10 trillion digital interactions per week, providing an incredibly broad and deep platform to stop nefarious activity across the internet. As the shift in consumer and enterprise engagement toward digital channels continues to accelerate, it is a critical time to be proactive in protecting against fraud and sophisticated bot attacks. Today’s recognitions follow White Ops’ completion of a successful funding round in May led by Goldman Sachs Merchant Banking Division and ClearSky Security. Most recently, the company announced it is developing and expanding its presence in London to serve customers in the UK and hire the incredible tech talent the country’s capital boasts.
